A member competing at an Area Humorous Speech Contest
For 33 years, Old Town Toastmasters has helped people of all backgrounds become more confident in front of an audience in a friendly and supportive environment. Founded in 1988 by Beverly Hitchins, Old Town Toastmasters is a President’s Distinguished Club, the most prestigious award given to clubs, which is achieved by accomplishing a myriad of communication and leadership goals. Our club ranges from members wishing to brush up on their public speaking skills to more advanced speakers who have gone on to make public speaking their profession.
“There are always three speeches, for every one you actually gave. The one you practiced, the one you gave, and the one you wish you gave.”Dale Carnegie
